Aberdeen Standard Investments makes Switzerland push

The global asset manager Aberdeen Standard Investments has appointed André Haubensack as head of Distribution – Switzerland. The appointment was made in the context of the merger of Standard Life Aberdeen PLC and Aberdeen Asset Management last year.

Based in Zurich, Haubensack reports to Rik Brouwer, head of European Distribution of Aberdeen Standard Investments. The sales team for Switzerland is complemented by Julien Boissier in Geneva, Paola Bissoli and Carolin Hefele in Zurich. The company is growing and plans to announce two new appointments in the coming weeks.

Haubensack has been active in the Swiss financial centre for over 18 years and has extensive knowledge and many years of experience in the financial sector. Previously, he was a director at New Star Asset Management and Credit Suisse. In 2014, he joined Standard Life Investments as part of the acquisition of Ignis Asset Management.
