She has been appointed executive director of the Paris-headquartered hedge fund.

Stievenart spent almost five years at Winton and prior to that, worked at HSBC Alternative Investments as hedge fund analyst and later as portfolio manager. She also held the role of head of Hedge Fund Research for France at HSBC Private Bank France.

CFM has over $10bn in assets under management and runs two investment programs, Alpha and Alternative Beta, that were launched in 1991 and 2003 respectively.

It is the firm’s belief that markets have a degree of predictability that becomes ever more apparent through data and establishes a favourable environment for alternative investment strategies that provide risk adjusted returns with a low correlation to traditional investment markets benchmarks.
