Paris-based emerging manager seeding fund 2i Sélection, dedicated to French institutional investors, has selected the French equity fund IDAM Small France, run by IDAM.
2i Sélection, managed by Amilton Asset Management’s Franck Missera and Jean-Claude Guimiot, aims to detect and reveal innovative young French asset managers generating alpha.
The fund of funds tallies currently eight institutional investors that include Agrica, BNP Paribas Cardif, Groupe Pasteur Mutualité, SMABTP and Generali among others.
Louis Albert is the lead portfolio manager on the €62m IDAM Small France fund, which invests in French small and mid cap companies.
Albert had explained the investment process to InvestmentEurope back in January 2018.
