Assets under management of France-domiciled funds (Ucis and AIFs) have reached €1.97trn as of 31 January 2018, French asset management association AFG reported.
Almost €1.06trn were managed in French alternative investment funds while the remaining €915bn were into Ucits funds.
As for inflows, some €31.8bn of net new money was recorded by France-domiciled funds for the first month of 2018. Some €29bn of assets were poured into money market funds and €7.4bn in equity strategies.
Fixed income strategies domiciled in France posted €2.4bn of net inflows in January 2018. Diversified and formula funds faced outflows of €6.4bn and €0.6bn respectively.
