Merck & Finck appoints new CIO

German private bank Merck & Finck has appointed Daniel Kerbach as new chief investment officer (CIO), effective 1 September 2017. Kerbach will be based in Munich and report directly to CEO Matthias Schellenberg.

Daniel Kerbach will be responsible for the entire investment sector of the company. In addition to the investment section, he will also be looking after the strategic division and portfolio management.

Kerbach has more than 15 years of experience in wealth and asset management. Most recently he was working as deputy CIO and head of asset management at Julius Baer in Zurich. Prior to joining Julius Baer, Kerbach worked for Pioneer Investments, Winterthur Asset Management, and LGT Capital Management.
