Amundi’s thematic centre CPR Asset Management has appointed Florian Peudevin to work alongside Vafa Ahmadi, head of Thematic Equities, for the management of the CPR Silver Age and the CPR Global Silver Age funds as well as of their declensions.
This appointment comes after former CPR Silver Age’s co-portfolio manager Clément Maclou departed CPR after 11 years to join Swiss boutique Decalia Asset Management.
Peudevin joined CPR AM in 2015 as junior portfolio manager.
Also the firm has recently bolstered the thematic equities team, led by Ahmadi and tallying now eight investment professionals, with the appointment of Wesley Lebeau as global equity portfolio manager.
Lebeau joined from Amundi where he spent ten years, managing several global equity funds. His focus there has been in particular on technology, media and telecommunications stocks.
A spokesperson for CPR AM told InvestmentEurope Lebeau will further co-manage a new thematic fund with Estelle Ménard, deputy head of Thematic Equities.
CPR AM has currently almost €4bn of assets under management in thematic equities funds.
