Universal Investment strengthens institutional sales team

German fund service platform Universal Investment has strengthened its institutional sales with the appointment of Tina Szymanski as senior sales manager. She will be a member of the sales team for institutional investors headed by Thorsten Schneider.
For past 10 years Szymanski was working in the area of capital investment focus on securities at the Ärzteversorgung Niedersachsen in Hannover.
Katja Müller, divisional manager Sales & Relationship Management and member of the management team of Universal Investment, commented: “Szymanski will provide a direct customer perspective through her many years of service in a pension fund. We are looking forward to the expansion of this customer group at Universal Investment.”
In the last twelve months alone, the assets under administration of Universal investment grew by one-fifth and amounted to €387bn at the end of July. In the first half of 2018, the company achieved the highest net inflows in the industry, at around €19bn.
