ICG hires head of Marketing France, Spain, Italy, Monaco, Geneva

London-headquartered alternative asset management firm Intermediate Capital Group has appointed Iméne Boumalala as head of Marketing France, Italy, Spain, Geneva and Monaco.
Boumalala will be in charge of promoting ICG’s strategies towards institutional investors and of managing existing clients in France, Spain, Italy, Geneva and Monaco. In addition, she will be responsible for marketing some strategies in Israel. Boumalala will report to ICG’s managing director marketing and client relationship Michael Biereth and will work with the firm’s global distribution team.
Prior to joining ICG, Boumalala spent 11 years at Neuberger Berman, having started the firm’s business in Israel and having been responsible for French institutional sales. She also worked at Morgan Stanley.
ICG, which managed €27.2bn of assets in third party funds and proprietary capital at the end of 2017, focuses on four asset classes: corporate, capital market, real asset and secondary investments.
