A senior team has joined Spain’s A&G Banca Privada from asset manager Tressis to cover institutional fixed income.
The eight new appointments are led by Jesús Lara Garzás, an expert in institutional fixed income, specialised in insurers and investment funds, who was Capital Markets director at Tressis in the last nine years.
A&G Banca Privada has also hired Javier García Baeza, who has been director of Fixed Income Operations at Tressis since 2008, along with previous operators of the Fixed Income unit of Tressis Natividad Elizo García, Alberto Clavero Franco, Arturo Gutiérrez Soto and Francisco Mata Ramírez.
Former members of the department of Middle-Office Institutional Fixed Income at Tressis Alberto Gil Herrera and Diana Blanco Borrego have also joined A&G.
In recent years, the A&G Group has more than doubled its turnover, reaching €7.8bn in assets under management, making it one of the leading independent firms of Private Banking in Spain.
At present the A&G Group has more than 150 employees and 70 bankers in its offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Santander, Seville, Valladolid, Valencia and Luxembourg.
