Bestinver hires head of Sales

Bestinver has hired Gustavo Trillo to head its Sales department.

Trillo previously worked for Morgan Stanley Investment Management for Spain and Portugal and has more than 15 years of experience working with institutional investors.

Bestinver also named Maria Caputto head of Large Accounts. Caputto, whose experience with Bestinver goes back to 1992, had been named head of the department last 23 September after Francisco García Paramés announced his departure.

The hire of Trillo follows that of Beltrán de la Lastra, general director replacing Parames, and that of Ricardo Cañete as head of Spanish equities.

Prior to working for Morgan Stanley, Trillo had been product specialist and head of Sales at JP Morgan Asset Management for nine years.
