Banque de Luxembourg Investments (BLI) has appointed Gina Kogelschatz and Olivier Wagener as analysts and strategists for its fixed income team. Kogelschatz will be in charge of credit analysis, and Wagener takes over the strategy for the emerging markets.
Gina Kogelschatz started her career as a graduate trainee at Deloitte LLP and went on to work as an analyst at Moody’s Investors Service in London and at Deutsche Bank. She holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a degree from ESCP Europe Business School in Paris.
Olivier Wagener possesses several years of experience in structuring and trading. Prior to joining BLI, Olivier was responsible for structuring cross-asset linked products at Banque de Luxembourg, where he also gained experience as a fixed income trader. He started his career in Zurich in the hedge fund industry, both from a single perspective as well as from an investor perspective. Olivier is a Master in Banking and Finance, graduated from the HSG, University of St. Gallen, and obtained a Bachelor of Science from HEC Lausanne. He is both a CAIA and CFA Charterholder.
“The development of the asset management company’s activities, but also the challenges in our markets have required an intensification of our resources and particularly an enrichment of our analysis competences”, said Jean-Philippe, head of Fixed Income. ““Kogelschatz and Wagener have gained experience in other companies before joining us and they are an addition to our asset management company.”
