DekaBank has strengthened its management team in institutional sales with the appointment of Susanne Hellmann, effective 1 October 2018.
In her new role, she will be responsible in particular for business with insurance companies, public-sector investors, pension funds, foundations, family offices and corporate clients. Hellmann will report to Lorne Campbell, who heads DekaBank’s entire sales department institutional clients.
Hellmann succeeds Michael Stark-Urzendnik, who has taken over the management of client intermediation and is responsible for portfolio analysis, consultant support and regulatory projects.
So far, Hellmann is managing director of the institutional distribution of NN Investment Partners in Germany (formerly ING Investment Management), where she has been working since 2007. She began her career in 1987 at Deutsche Bank. She then joined Citibank and MLP Asset Management.
