Lausanne-headquartered Vaudoise Assurances Holding SA has reached an agreement to fully acquire a pair of Swiss asset managers based in Bern, Dr Meyer Asset Management AG and Berninvest AG.
The two companies manage total assets of CHF1.4bn.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval, no financial details were disclosed.
Dr Meyer Asset Management provides a number of financial services including private wealth management, financial advisory or real estate management.
Berninvest, which is part of Dr.Meyer Beteiligungen AG, manages the Immo Helvetic and Good Buildings property funds.
Vaudoise Assurances said there will be no changes in jobs. Both companies will remain based in Bern.

He added that the deal is expanding Vaudoise Assurances’ footprint in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
