Mediobanca has appointed Luca Ardizzoia for its private banking division led by Angelo Angelo Viganò.
The hire joins Mediobanca from JP Morgan, where he worked for four years responsible for the Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) segment.
Prior to his work at JP Morgan, Ardizzoia worked as relationship manager at Schroders from 2009 to 2014, responsible for the business development and analysis of potential new clients while focusing on Ultra High Net Worth Individuals.
Formerly, Ardizzoia worked as wealth management analyst at Citi Group, where he was also responsible for the business development and the analysis of potential new clients, as well as for giving support to senior bankers and the firm’s CEO in portfolio management.
The appointment is part of Mediobanca private banking division’s growth plans, which aim at adding around 30 bankers to the team and at increasing its assets by €6bn over the next three years.
