Paris-headquartered asset management firm Amundi has appointed Tugrul Kolad to the role of head of Fixed Income Germany in February, InvestmentEurope understands.
Based in Munich, Kolad adds this position to his current role of head of Credit Quant he holds since the merger between Amundi and Pioneer Investments last summer.
From 2007 to 2017, Kolad was head of Credit Quant at Pioneer Investments in Germany, managing a team of three portfolio managers. There he also managed mutual and institutional corporate bond funds and developed credit investment processes combining quantitative and fundamental data as well as trend-following strategies.
Before that, Kolad was head of Credit and Money Markets within the Austrian branch of Pioneer. He also served as a senior fixed income portfolio manager with Capital Invest KAG and Raiffeisen. Kolad started his career as senior fixed income and currency analyst at Unicredit Bank Austria in 1995.
