Allfunds Bank’s platform has named Laura González as head for Iberia and LatAm.
González (pictured), who joined Allfunds in 2011, works currently as global account manager for the company. In addition, she leads the subsidiary arm Allfunds Bank has in Brazil. Prior to that, González worked for the wealth management division at Thomson Reuters, where she started her tenure in 2007 – responsible for Germany, France, Iberia and Africa. Within the same financial group, she also led the sales team at Lipper while it was closing its merger with Reuters. González started her path at the Luxembourg-based European Investment Bank in 2006.
She will be succeeding Luis Ussia, who is moving to Mutuactivos where he will be working as CEO for the company.
Allfunds Bank CEO Juan Alcaraz said: “We believe González’s appointment as head for both markets is great news for the company and above all for our clients. She has the knowledge, experience, and resources needed to lead the company towards the new challenges it faces.”
Currently, Allfunds Bank’s platform offers access to some 54,000 funds from 587 managers, with its own local presence in Spain, Italy, UK, Chile, UAE, Switzerland, Colombia, Luxembourg and Singapore.
