Hans Bevers (pictured) has been appointed chief economist of Bank Degroof Petercam.
In his new position, he will be responsible for the development of the overall macroeconomic scenario as well as for the analysis of economic themes.
Bevers will report to Bruno Colmant, Head of Macro research and member of the group management committee.
Bevers joined Petercam in 2011 as senior economist where he contributed to the development of the global macroeconomic scenario, and was responsible for the economic analysis of emerging markets. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an economist at VOKA and KBC.
Brussels headquartered Degroof Petercam manages over €50bn in assets.
