Sanlam UK bolsters its private office with two hires

London-headquartered Sanlam UK has appointed Jonathan Moon as business development director and Will Cayzer as business development assistant with the aim to strengthen its private office.

Both appointments, made effective on 25 September 2017, join the team led by Penny Lovell, who joined the firm in August to take control over Sanlam’s new private office.

Moon joins Sanlam from Close Brothers Asset Management, where he has been working as business development director for the last two years. Formerly, he held similar positions at Tilney Investment Management and at Tilney Bestinvest.

Cayzer also joins from Close Brothers Asset Management where he worked for two years. Prior to that, he worked at Fleming Family and Partners.

Penny Lovell, CEO of Sanlam Private Office, said: “Both Moon and Cayzer are highly talented professionals with a deep understanding of the needs and requirements of high net worth individuals. I have worked with them closely over a number of years and I am confident that, together, we can create a first-class high net worth private office proposition at Sanlam UK.”

Jonathan Polin, CEO of Sanlam UK Group, added: “The launch of a private office extends our service in the UK and bolsters our ability to offer tailored solutions for high net worth clients. Penny’s team will deliver a high quality private office proposition and will be central to us cementing our position as one of the UK’s leading wealth managers.”

Sanlam UK manages over £12bn in client assets.
