BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Frédéric Mangeant as chief executive officer (CEO) for its Spanish arm to be effective on 30 January.
Mangeant (pictured), reporting to Lauric Leclerc – deputy chief executive officer of BNP Paribas Real Estate Spain – will be responsible for leading the company’s growth strategy in Spain by bolstering all business arms.
The new CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate joins the company from Shaftesbury Asset Management, where he has been working as Spain head since 2014. Starting his career in the US in 1987, worked at Knight Frank in Spain where he came to be the first non British partner the company had.
BNP Paribas Real Estate has also appointed Jesús Pérez as senior adviser for the Spanish division.
Lauric Leclerc, deputy chief executive officer at BNP Paribas Real Estate, said: “We aim at creating a new important player in Spain. Mangeant’s knowledge and experience in the Spanish market is well known so he will further develop all our core businesses across the Iberian country thanks to his wide experience and solid background in the property sector, both at national and global levels.”
