Laurent Gaetani (pictured) has been appointed CEO of Degroof Petercam Gestion, the asset management arm of Degroof Petercam France.
Based in Paris, he reports to François Wohrer, CEO of Degroof Petercam France. Gaetani who leads a team of four portfolio managers will further develop the firm’s expertises towards French clients.
Gaetani joined Aforge Gestion, now known as Degroof Petercam Gestion, in 2010 as a diversified portfolio manager and asset allocator. Since 2013, he has been responsible for multimanagement and private mandates.
Formerly, Gaetani held various roles at AXA IM such as quantitative analyst, financial engineer and fixed income manager from 2001 to 2010.
He started his career in 2000 at Ubitrade where he was an adviser on derivatives trading softwares.
Bank Degroof and Petercam have recently merged to form Degroof Petercam managing over €50bn in assets.
