Dutch asset manager NN Investment Partners (NN IP) has announced a change in the investment policy of its NN (B) Invest Belgium fund, a sub-fund of its Belgian Sicav NN (B) Invest.
The fund, which only invests in Belgian stocks to date, will be enabled to invest in companies located out of Belgium as from 1 December 2017. However Belgian equities will remain the core investment of the strategy.
Launched in February 1991, the NN (B) Invest Belgium fund is managed by Pierre Nicolas, Nicolas Simar and Manu Vandenbulck and had €196.61m of assets under management as at end of September 2017.
The capital growth-focused strategy seeks to outperform the BEL 20 Private (Net) Return. The management team picks stocks that are expected to rise in value due to the quality of their
balance sheets and the strength of the companies concerned.
The top 5 holdings of the fund as of 30 September 2017 were Engie (8.84%), Anheuser-Busch InBev (7.73%), ageas (6.88%), KBC Group (6.75%), ING Groep (6.35%).
