Lazard AM appoints director in London

Lazard Asset Management Limited (LAML) has appointed Rob Barrett as director, to help drive the firm’s business development efforts in the UK institutional market.

Barrett joins the firm from AXA Investment Managers where he was head of UK Institutional Sales. Prior to this he was institutional sales manager for UK and Ireland at Invesco, and has also held roles at HSBC Global Asset Management and JP Morgan.

As of June 30, 2018, LAM and affiliated asset management companies in the Lazard Group managed $238bn worth of client assets.

“Barrett’s years of experience in the institutional market adds strength to our team in the UK,” said Jeremy Taylor, CEO of LAML. “He will play an important role in helping us build our profile and continue our growth in the UK Institutional space.”
