Theam, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP), has appointed Isabelle Bourcier (pictured) as head of ETF and Indexed Fund Activities.
Bourcier, reporting to Theam’s CEO Denis Panel, will be in charge of speeding up the development of Theam over the indexed fund and ETF segment.
She will head the 20-person indexed management team and another team focusing on the sale of indexed fund and ETFs products.
Bourcier will be a member of the executive committee of Theam.
Prior to joining Theam, she was head of Business Development at Ossiam, a Natixis’ boutique specialising in smart beta ETFs, between February 2011 and November 2015.
She has also held a number of positions within Societe Generale’s group from 1994 to 2010, including global head of ETF Activities at Lyxor AM and global head of Listed Products at Societe Generale.
Bourcier began her career in 1992 as European editor at the Financial Times.
Theam had €38bn in assets under management as of end March 2016.
