Italian wealth manager Kairos has appointed Pio Benetti as head of its asset management team.
Benetti will be responsible for leading Kairos’ asset management team and will take an active role in monitoring customer services offered by the company to its private banking clients.
Starting his career at Solofin Sim as a financial analyst, Benetti counts with more than 25 years’ experience in asset management (particularly in portfolio management for private banking and institutional clients).
He joins Kairos from Pictet Wealth Management, where he was holding the post of European CIO for the last three years. Formerly he was head of asset management at Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking. Prior to that, he worked for Ducato Gestioni (MPS Group) as a fund manager responsible for Italian equity funds, and previously worked for ING Sviluppo Gestioni as assistant fund manager.
