Jupiter has appointed Matteo Dante Perruccio as an executive adviser.
In this new role, Perruccio will initially look to establish and develop Jupiter’s business in Italy.
Perruccio served for eight years as a non-executive Director of London listed Jupiter Fund Management plc, and has 30 years’ experience in the asset management industry. While on the board, he was actively involved in supporting Jupiter’s international expansion plans.
In 2008, Perruccio founded and was CEO of Hermes BPK Partners, a JV with the BT Pension Scheme.
From 2000 to 2006, Perruccio held various roles at Pioneer Investments including, global head of Distribution, Vice Chairman Pioneer Alternatives, CEO International and CEO of Pioneer Investment Management SGR, the second largest asset manager in Italy.
Before this, as Executive Director EMEA, he worked for American Express Bank where he was responsible for launching the first distribution of foreign funds through banks in Italy.
Including his involvement in Hermes BPK, Perruccio has deep experience in the alternatives sector, having been CEO of Olympia Capital Management, a Paris-based Fund of Hedge Funds.
