Amundi’s thematic fund center CPR AM has expanded its inflation-focused fund range with the launch of the CPR Focus Inflation US fund aimed to benefit from rising inflation’s expectations in the US without exposure to real rates.
The fund, co-managed by Christophe Dehondt and Valérie Quesada, has been launched on 6 March 2017.
It seeks to outperform the Markit iBoxx USD Breakeven 10-year Inflation (EUR) hedged index over a 3-year period.
Emmanuelle Court, deputy CEO, business development at CPR AM, said : “The US rising inflation cycle is not over and in order to meet growing client demand for exposure on the US bond market with an alternative to face rate hikes, we have applied our pure inflation approach to the US market.”
CPR AM had €39bn of assets under management as of 31 December 2016.
