Iberian asset manager unveils real assets unit

Iberian asset manager Dunas Capital has announced the launch of its Real Assets division, which will be led by Gregorio Herrera.
The new unit will seek investment opportunities in Spanish tangible assets, such as ships, aircrafts or energy efficiency equipment. Dunas Capital will invest in these assets directly or through funds managed by the firm.
Herrera, the head of this new division, was one of the founders of Banco Santander’s Real Assets unit and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector.
The team is also comprised of Miguel Cacho as director, Inés Aguinaga as senior vice president and Javier Hidalgo as vice president.
