UniCredit names WM head
Milan-headquartered UniCredit has appointed Marco Bizzozero as head of Group Wealth Management to be effective on 1 of March 2018.
Bizzozero, who will report to general manager of UniCredit Gianni Franco Papa, will lead a division focused on growing the group’s wealth management and private banking business in Europe, with a particular focus on Italy, Germany and Austria.
With 25 years’ financial experience and having held senior positions in global organisations in wealth management, private equity and investment banking, Bizzozero formerly worked at Deutsche Bank as head of wealth management for EMEA and later as CEO of Deutsche Bank Switzerland.
Prior to that, Bizzozero held various roles in investment banking and private equity with UBS in Zurich, New York and London, and previously worked as head of private equity secondary investments at LGT Capital Partners.
