Janus Henderson, born of the merger between Janus Capital and Henderson Global Investors, is to automatically renames the strategies of the Henderson Global Care Funds range and change their investment objectives, turning them into SRI funds, as from 15 December 2017, the firm said in a letter to shareholders.
The Henderson Global Care Funds range will be renamed to Janus Henderson Sustainable/Responsible Funds.
Hence, the Henderson Global Care Growth fund will be rebranded Janus Henderson Global Sustainable Equity. As from 15 December, the strategy will seek to invest in companies that contribute to positive environmental or social change in the manager’s view.
The Henderson Global Care UK Income fund will become the Janus Henderson UK Responsible Income fund investing in firms that are responsibly run and considering ESG issues.
As for the Henderson Institutional Global Care Managed fund, it will be renamed as the Janus Henderson Institutional Global Responsible Managed fund. It will invest in stocks and bonds of companies that are responsibly run and look at ESG issues.
