Livret A posts inflows for sixth consecutive month

French public savings accounts Livret A have recorded inflows of €1.14bn in August 2016, as reported by Caisse des Dépôts.

It is the sixth consecutive month they have posted inflows after having been hardly hit by massive outflows in 2015.

Overall, some €258bn were held in Livret A accounts by Caisse des Dépôts as pf 31 August 2016.

The Livret de Développement Durable (LLD) has also recorded inflows of €1.39bn in August. Total assets in LDD accounts reached €101.3bn as of end August 2016.
