Fidelity International has appointed Cosmo Schinaia as country head for Italy.
Schinaia, who had been working as head of Institutional for Fidelity from 2010 to 2015, will now be responsible for overseeing the business and developing the strategic marketing plan of the company in the Italian market. In his new tenure, Schinaia will be reporting to Christophe Gloser, the head of sales for Continental Europe.
Before working at Fidelity, he was executive director of Wholesale and Institutional in Morgan Stanley. Formerly, he worked for Credit Agricole Asset Management and for Generali Group.
Christophe Gloser, Fidelity’s head of sales for Continental Europe, said: “Market share’s growth and assets under management have more than tripled over the last 10 years in Italy thanks to our commitment to help our clients to build a better future. Schinaia contributed to achieve these results in the past and I am sure that Fidelity’s Italian subsidiary will benefit from its experience in achieving ever-increasing successes.”
