BlackRock has appointed Lukas Daalder as chief investment strategist in the Netherlands. Daalder will join the firm on 13 August 2018. He will be responsible for leveraging the firm’s global investment views to deliver local insights to Dutch clients and client-facing professionals.
With over twenty years of professional experience, Daalder has acquired a strong presence as capital market expert in Netherlands, and is well placed to provide clients with macro-economic insights.
Daalder joins BlackRock from Robeco, where he has held several roles as of 2009, and was chief investment officer of Robeco Investment Solutions since 2014. In this role, he headed the multi-asset team, managing €32bn across retail and institutional multi-asset offerings. Before that, he held several research and strategist roles at IMC, Bank Oyens & van Eeghen, Amstgeld and Rabobank.
