Intesa's Molesini named chairman of Assoreti

Italy’s Assoreti board of directors has elected Paolo Molesini as its new chairman.
Molesini, voted unanimously by the board, will replace Matteo Colafrancesco, who had resigned to work at Banca Intermobiliare as a director.
Molesini, who currently works as managing director at Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, held previously other management roles at the Italian group. Formerly, he worked at various companies including Henkel Group, The Mac Group, Fondiaria Group, Sanpaolo Vita or Monte dei Paschi di Siena, among others.
Paolo Molesini, Assoreti chairman, said: “I am very grateful for the role I have appointed to by the board of directors of Assoreti. At the association we will be committed to the dialogue with the domestic and community authorities. We will also work in the development of a greater financial culture and a consultancy able to provide value and efficiency, in the interest of clients.”
Assoreti is the Italian association of banks and investment firms providing investment advisory services through its financial advisers, who are authorised to operate outside the intermediaries’ premises.
