Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva has announced the appointment of Charlie Diebel as head of Rates Strategy.
In this new role, Diebel is responsible for the collaboration between the Emerging Market Debt and the Developed Market Rates teams while coordinating the Fixed Income house view across the business.
He is based in London and reports to Daniel James, global head of Rates and Multi-Strategy Fixed Income.
Diebel joins Aviva Investors from Lloyds Bank where he was previously head of Market Strategy, Commercial Banking. Prior to that, he was head of Rates Strategy at Nomura International.
