Nils Bolmstrand (pictured) has been appointed as the new head of Nordea Asset Management, effective as from 1 January 2017.
Bolmstrand will succeed Christian Hyldahl, current head of Nordea Asset Management, who has recently been appointed as CEO of ATP, one of Danemark’s largest pension funds.
Bolmstrand currently heads up Nordea Life & Pensions, and has previously held managerial positions within Nordea Asset Management and the asset management division of Skandia and Old Mutual.
“Nils is the right person to maintain the very strong momentum and development of Nordea Asset Management,” Snorre Storset, head of Nordea Wealth Management, said.
“He has the competencies and experience within the asset management business, and he has strong leadership and personal skills,” he added.
Nordea Asset Management had €215bn of assets under management at the end of Q3 2016.
