Lombard Odier Private Bank has appointed Oliver Hart and Dylan Samuel to its London-based wealth management and advice team.
Hart joins Lombard Odier from Coutts Private Office, he has more than 18 years’ experience in investment management and private banking in the UK. Prior to that, he worked among others at Lloyds Bank Private Banking, Barclays Wealth and James Capel (now HSBC Global Asset Management).
Dylan Samuel joined the bank earlier this year as executive vice president, from J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He spent 13 years at J.P Morgan’s London and Geneva offices, and in his last role at the firm headed a team focused on UK financial professionals and family offices.
The appointments follow a range of hires last year, in a bid to bolster the London office’s geographical reach servicing Middle Eastern, Turkish and French clients from London, as UK CEO Duncan MacIntyre highlights.
“The UK remains a core financial centre globally and we’re seeing growing demand from clients for wealth management services from London. We’ve invested heavily in our UK presence as a result, and I’m excited to see the level of senior talent we’re attracting to the business” MacIntyre comments.
