French investment advisory firm Cedrus Partners, which is to conquer the Spanish market next July, has hired Clément Joly as managing director of its newly opened office of Lyon, the firm announced.
Joly, formerly head of Multi-Manager Solutions at ABN Amro in Hong Kong until last January, will oversee the firm’s activities in Lyon. He will rely on the expertise of Paris’ Cedrus office with which he will develop synergies.
He spent his entire career at ABN Amro before joining Cedrus Partners. Joly started in 2003 as a mandate portfolio manager in Paris before being appointed senior product specialist and global product manager then head of Advisory and Client Servicing in Amsterdam. He later joined ABN Amro’s Hong Kong office.
Cedrus Partners said the choice of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes area came naturally for the opening of a new French office as it wanted to embody the relationship with local investors.
The firm advises clients on traditional and alternative investments. Cedrus Partners has over €17bn in assets under advisory.
