RBC names new head of Wealth Management International

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Ashif Ratanshi as head of Wealth Management – International, effective 1 May 2017.
Ratanshi will succeed Stuart Rutledge, who is to take on a new role with RBC in Toronto, Canada.
In his new position, Ratanshi will lead RBC’s Wealth Management businesses in the UK, Channel Islands and Asia.
Reporting to Doug Guzman, group head of Wealth Management and Insurance, he will be based in London.
Ratanshi has been with RBC since almost 30 years. In his most recent role, he was responsible for developing and implementing the overall strategic direction for all aspects of the branch investments, deposits and direct investing businesses.
RBC Wealth Management, part of Royal Bank of Canada, has over C$580bn (€420.1bn) of assets under management.
