Bestinver opens office in Galicia

The Spanish asset manager Bestinver has opened an office in A Coruña (Galicia) aimed at offering a greater service to Bestinver clients in the Spanish region, where the firm has some 2,000 investors.

The new office raises to seven the number of units the firm has in Spain, with offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, León, and Pamplona.

According to Bestinver, the launch seeks to bolster the company’s double commitment towards its clients: on the one hand to obtain the greatest long-term profitability from funds and pension plans, and on the other to keep clients regularly informed of their portfolios’ evolution.

The Spanish manager has announced the launch of two new strategies: a short-term fixed income fund and a LatAm equity strategy.

It has also unveiled its plans of expanding Bestinver Mixto fund’s universe, which currently targets Spain and Portugal and aims to become a global mixed fund.

Bestinver’s Global Mixed fund will reduce its risk profile, becoming the most conservative mixed fund that will invest just up to 25% in equities.

Led by Beltrán De la Lastra, Bestinver manages over €6bn in assets from more than 50,000 retail investors.
