Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft announced the appointment of Christian Vomberg and Sascha Smiatek for its portfolio management (PM) team.
Christian Vomberg is hired as a senior portfolio manager to the Frankfurter Bankgesellschaft. The sustainability expert is to focus on expanding the business model “asset management for savings banks”.
Vomberg comes from the banking house J. Safra Sarasin, whose German private banking business is currently in the process of settlement. There he was responsible for sustainability strategies, among other things, in portfolio management. Vomberg reports to René Schubert, the head of portfolio management.
Sascha Smiatek will also join the bank’s portfolio management team on 1 July. His duties will include asset management for savings banks. Smiatek joins from the J. Safra Sarasin. Before this, he has worked at Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg, the Corporate & Investment Banking of BNP Paribas and the auditing company KPMG.
