London’s Cass Business School is to target European expansion for its Cass Consulting research business.
“More and more professional organisations recognise the benefits of working with an academic partner to help them validate thinking or solve business problems to inspire business excellence,” said client director Christina Makris.
The firm has already worked with clients such as the Bank of England, BNY Mellon, Barclays Wealth, UBS and the UK Treasury. It has also recently undertaken some research for the data provider FE on portfolio construction methodology.
The unit will be looking to build relationships in Europe with clients wanting to access academic resources to provide analysis of industry trends and bespoke research in the fields of insurance, organisational change, longevity and asset management.
It is also promoting www.CassKnowledge.com, a free website offering research papers, analytical tools and media material and CassExec, an executive education programme, tailored for individual clients from a range of backgrounds.
Cass Finance research was ranked third in Europe in a study by the European Financial Management Journal, and a previous study rated 90% of the Business School’s research output as of ‘international significance or higher’.
