Aberdeen Life
Aberdeen Asset Management’s life and pensions division has appointed Helen Webster as its chief operating officer.
Previously, Webster was responsible for product development and distribution at Aegon Asset Management. She was also a director of that firm’s offshore funds business. Webster has worked at Aegon Group for 17 years, with five of those spent at Scottish Equitable and the remainder at its asset management arm.
At Aberdeen Life, Webster will oversee operational management and service provision, and work on strategic development of that business within Aberdeen Group. She reports to Alan Blakeley, Aberdeen Life’s chief executive.
Currently, Aberdeen Life manages £1.9bn of assets for a range of pension scheme and insurance clients, using equity, fixed income and property products.
