Fulcrum adds one to investment team

London-based boutique Fulcrum Asset Management has appointed Marc Semaan (pictured) as a multi-asset strategist.

Ten-year experienced Semaan was previously working within Aviva Investors’ AIMS Team where he held a similar role.

Before this, he was a macro strategist at Friends Life Investments where he built a global macro research structure to support the fixed income teams.

He also worked at Brandywine Global Investment Management as a global macro research analyst.

Fulcrum’s CEO Andrew Stevens said: “We continue to invest in attracting the highest calibre of investment professionals, believing that it is the intellectual rigour which we apply to asset allocation that sets us apart from our peers. It forms the bedrock on which our business is built and Marc’s excellent reputation for providing macro strategic insight will further enhance our capabilities.”

Fulcrum has assets under management of £5.1bn (€5.53bn).
