Columbia Threadneedle Investments has appointed Katherine Haesaerts as sales director covering Belgium. Haesaerts, who joins the company today, will be responsible for developing wholesale distribution partnerships and client relationships in Belgium including IFAs.
She will report to Prosper van Zanten, head of Benelux Distribution and she will work closely with Claude Ewen, existing sales director for Luxembourg and Belgium.
Haesaerts joins from La Financière de l’Echiquier where she spent two years as Sales Director for Benelux & Scandinavia, heading the team in charge of the distribution in the region. Previous to this role she worked at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking (SGCIB) for 10 years in various roles within the Global Markets department. Her last positions at SGCIB were sales cross Asset Solutions Benelux and head of Product Marketing for Belgium and the Netherlands.
