Waverton Investment Management has confirmed the appointment of Mark Harrison as chief operating officer with immediate effect.
Harrison (pictured) has over 30 years of financial industry experience, including roles in executive management, advisory, IT, and operations. His first role was at Andersen Consulting, and he has worked at PwC, BNP Paribas, JP Morgan Cazenove, AMP and EFG Bank. As an adviser he has worked at the Bank of England, QIC (Australia) and Hermes.

He will be an invaluable asset for Waverton and will play an important role in supporting the continued growth of the business and improving our service to clients.”
Waverton IM is based in London’s West End, and had some £5.1bn in AUM as at the end of December 2016.
Originally founded as J O Hambro Investment Management (JOHIM) in 1986 by Richard Hambro, the business was owned by the Hambro family and senior management before being acquired by Credit Suisse Group in 2001. In 2013, Credit Suisse sold JOHIM Bermuda National Limited, since re-named Somers Limited, and to the existing management team.
