Amundi Pioneer reshuffles US fixed income team

Since Amundi Pioneer’s deputy director of fixed income Charles Melchreit is set to leave the firm on 8 June, the manager has announced a number of appointments, all effective 8 June.

The firm has named Timothy Rowe as portfolio manager on the $5bn Pioneer Bond fund in replacement of Melchreit.

Rowe, managing director and deputy director of multi-sector fixed income of Amundi Pioneer, will run the fund alongside Kenneth Taubes, executive vice president and CIO US of Amundi Pioneer, and Brad Komenda, senior vice president and investment grade deputy director of the firm.

Jonathan Scott has been added to the portfolio management team of the Pioneer Strategic Income fund while Larry Zeno will integrate the fund management team of the Pioneer Classic Balanced fund.

The Pioneer Multi-Asset Ultrashort Income and the Pioneer Short Term Income funds’ teams will be strengthened with the arrivals of Nicolas Pauwels and Noah Funderburk.

Brad Komenda has been added to the Pioneer Global Multisector Income fund. Lastly, Howard Weiss will take PM responsibilities for the Pioneer Multi-Asset Income fund.
