Swiss Life Asset Managers has appointed Valeriy Petrov as portfolio manager within its loan team in Zurich, InvestmentEurope can reveal.
The information has been confirmed by a spokesperson of the firm.
Petrov had left UniCredit Bank AG last May following a 12-year stint with the company in Munich. There he was a trader on high yield, distressed debt and special situations as well as a portfolio manager on the firm’s TMT loan book among others.
Petrov started his career at Deutsche Asset Management as high yield credit analyst in 1999 before being appointed portfolio manager CLOs and ABS in December 2002.
