Eichler & Mehlert Financial Services has appointed Norbert Schulze Bornefeld as managing director. He will direct the independent asset manager in Düsseldorf together with the managing partner Kathrin Eichler and the cooperation with institutional customers.
Before joining Eichler & Mehlert, Norbert Schulze Bornefeld was managing director of Lampe Asset Management, the asset management subsidiary of the Lampe Bank.
After graduating in banking, Bornefeld started his career at the Lampe Bank in Düsseldorf. He was responsible for the supervision and management of special and public funds. In October 1996 he moved to the Berlin banking company for three years, where he was responsible for advising and acquiring institutional mandates.
In November 1999, Bornefeld returned to the Lampe Bank in Düsseldorf. He was responsible for the acquisition and support of institutional clients as well as a managerial position for managing the bank’s own holdings. In January 2001 he played a major role in the founding of Lampe Asset Management, where he was the spokesman for the management until his departure.
