Franck Silvent, the current head of Finance, Strategy and Equity Investments at French public financial group Caisse des Dépôts, will join the investment banking division of Degroof Petercam France – Degroof Petercam Finance – as managing partner.
Silvent will take up his new duties at the start of September. Since 2013, he has been overseeing the management of a portfolio of assets and some €80bn equity investments for CDC.
Silvent started his career at the Inspection Générale des Finances in 1998 before moving to CDC in 2002.
He then joined CDC’s tourism and leisure investment arm Compagnie des Alpes as financial director in 2005. He was appointed deputy CEO of the firm in 2009.
