Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking (SG CIB) has announced several promotions in its coverage and investment banking divison.
Michael Maringe has been named senior banker, head of Financial Sponsor Coverage for France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Formerly, he was head of Equity Capital Markets France, Belgium and Luxembourg and deputy head of Corporate Finance France.
Cathia Lawson-Hall has been appointed senior banker. She will be in charge of a client portfolio of large corporates and financial institutions for Africa.
Prior to that, she was co-head of Debt Capital Markets for Corporates France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Appointed senior banker as well, Oliver Meyer will remain head of Financial Sponsor Coverage for Germany and Austria. Meyer is also responsible for private investment banking in those two countries.
Batu Cetin has been promoted senior banker but will continue to hold on to his current position as head of Corporate and Investment Banking for Turkey. Cetin will remain in charge of the portfolio of large corporates and financial institutions for the country.
Pascal Bernard and Kenneth McDermott, who both worked previously as senior relationship managers, will be responsible of a client portfolio of financial institutions, respectively in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for Bernard and primarily in the US for McDermott.
Former senior relationship manager Carlos Gomez de Olea will remain in charge of a client portfolio of large corporates for Spain.
